Recordings stored in users' personal Penn Zoom accounts that are older than 120 days will be deleted from Zoom’s cloud storage.
- All important recordings should continue to be downloaded and saved to alternative storage solutions within their 120-day retention period.
Please note that existing recordings in Panopto will NOT be affected by this change. Classroom recordings initiated from within Canvas (Via the Zoom button in the menu) will continue to automatically be moved into Panopto for long-term storage.
Downloading and storing recordings
Information about how to download recordings is available at ISC's PennZoom Cloud Recording Management page.
Downloaded recordings must be stored, shared, and viewed using alternate platforms. Zoom does not allow deleted or downloaded recordings to be re-uploaded to Zoom.
