What Is Perusall?
Perusall is an annotation tool for digital text (PDFs, e-books, websites, etc.).Perusall enables collaborative annotation among students, instructors, TAs, and other course members.
It's essentially reading together and highlighting the text to leave comments for the instructor or your peers. They can then reply to your highlighted comments to start a discussion.
How Do I Access Perusall?
- Log into Canvas with your PennKey username and password.
- Enter your Canvas course site.
- Click the Perusall button.

Important: Please disregard the instructions for logging into Perusall on the web. You'll access Perusall through Canvas.
