It is recommended that you download and save any self-recorded videos from Panopto if you want to keep them indefinitely. This suggestion does not apply to videos recorded with the Penn LPS Media team; we back-up these videos.
As of September 17, 2024, Penn is implementing new Panopto content management rules. Videos uploaded three years ago that have not been viewed in thirteen months will be sent to the archive. These videos can be recalled from the archive, but they may take up to forty-eight hours to be viewable. Videos that have been in the archive for thirteen months will be permanently deleted. Videos will not be deleted before October 2025. Please see Restore Archived Panopto Videos for more information.
