PowerNotes for Students

Overview

PowerNotes is not supported by the Penn LPS Online Helpdesk, it is supported through the libraries since it is a research tool.

Steps to Log In to Powernotes

We recommend signing in using your Penn email, e.g., pennkey@sas.upenn.edu or, pennkey@upenn.edu (See image below for log in example) when installing the browser add-on so you can log in through the University of Pennsylvania's institute license and do not need to pay a fee to use the tool.

1. Navigate to Powernotes.com. 
2. Enter your Pennkey email address and then wait for the prompt "Log in with University of Pennsylvania" to appear.
3. Click Log In with University of Pennsylvania.
4. Look for a confirmation email in your Penn email inbox.
